Oregon School for the Deaf – ABC’s Extreme Makeover
September 2010 – 43 day planning – 131 hours to completion
Rich Duncan Construction was proud to be the Commercial Contractor completing Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’s first commercial dual project build. We constructed a new boys dorm on existing school ground and remodeled the 12,000 SF basement of an existing 1953 building. We obtained all the volunteers, materials, and subcontractors to complete the 3 million dollar project. From mitigating wetlands to the 11,000 volunteer meals, we even obtained “LEED GOLD” certification. We continue our support in Phase II adding more bedrooms to the dorm.
