The staff of Rich Duncan Construction was pleased to share in the ribbon cutting ceremony that took place for Physiq Fitness South Salem. A three month tenant improvement project came to a close this month and the new fitness center celebrated January 23rd, 2014 as their opening day for clients.
The second Salem location for Physiq Fitness, the South Salem fitness center is located at 4825 Commercial Street SE. Rich Duncan Construction crews began the interior tenant improvement project in October, remodeling close to 20,000 sq ft of space. The project began as an open space with raw concrete and required a small amount of demo, structural upgrades, framing for walls and the finishes and flooring necessary to accommodate all services offered at this location. Our crews constructed areas for full-size locker rooms, massage rooms, tanning beds, a smoothie bar, large group exercise room and the Q-Max theater. The Q-Max theater offers top quality cardio equipment, state-of-the-art surround sound system and a twelve-foot projection screen for use with HD movies. Physiq Fitness South Salem boasts Oregon’s first and only Q-Max theater. Rich Duncan Construction crews worked diligently to meet the fitness center’s scheduled opening date and to accommodate all amenities offered at this location.
